Formic Pro® – Fast-Acting Varroa Control
Formic Pro® is a formic acid-based varroa treatment that provides effective control of Varroa destructor mites, including those reproducing beneath capped brood cells. As an organic treatment, Formic Pro leaves no synthetic residues in beeswax and is suitable for use as part of an integrated pest management (IPM) program.
One of the key advantages of Formic Pro is that it can be used while honey supers are on the hive, making it a flexible option during the beekeeping season when applied according to label directions.

How to Use
- Ensure colony strength and weather conditions meet the label requirements.
- Place two Formic Pro strips across the top bars of the brood frames as directed.
- Leave the strips in the hive for the 14-day treatment period.
- Do not disturb the strips during treatment.
- Remove any remaining material after the treatment period if required by the product label.
Always follow the APVMA-approved label, paying particular attention to temperature recommendations and hive ventilation requirements for safe and effective treatment.
