Refunds & Returns Policy
At Lockwood Beekeeping Supplies, we are committed to providing high-quality products. Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to a remedy (refund, replacement, or repair) if a product you purchase has a major fault or doesn’t meet your consumer guarantees.
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we may not be able to offer a full refund or exchange unless the item has a fault that falls under your statutory rights under ACL.
Eligibility for Return
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- Be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition you received it
- Be in the original packaging
- Have a receipt or proof of purchase
Certain items are non-returnable, including:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable content
- Varroa treatments
- Ultrabee products
Please note: You are entitled to a remedy under ACL even if an item is not eligible for return under our policy, provided the item has a major defect.
How to Return an Item
To initiate a return, please contact us by email at sam@lockwoodbeekeepingsupplies.com with your proof of purchase or order number. We will guide you through the return process and provide further instructions.

Refunds
Once we receive your returned item, it will be inspected to determine if it meets the requirements for a refund. You will be notified of the outcome:
- If your return is approved, we will process the refund and a credit will be automatically applied to your original payment method within 10 business days.
- If your return is rejected, we will inform you of the reason and return the item to you.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund after 10 business days, please double-check your bank account. If the refund is still missing, please contact us at sam@lockwoodbeekeepingsupplies.com for assistance.
Sale Items
Sale items are not eligible for a refund under our policy unless they have a major defect or do not meet your consumer guarantees under ACL.
Exchanges
We will replace items only if they are defective or damaged. If the item you purchased is defective, you can request an exchange. We also accept exchanges for different sizes of bee suits.
To exchange a defective item or request a different size of a bee suit, please email sam@lockwoodbeekeepingsupplies.com to arrange the exchange.
Shipping Costs
You are responsible for the return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. If you are returning a higher-value item, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Statutory Rights under Australian Consumer Law
This policy is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, has a defect, or does not meet the description or purpose, you are entitled to a remedy such as a repair, replacement, or refund.
